Election  for Proctorial Board & School Head Boy

Session 2024-2025

  1.  Introduction

Al-Huda Model Schools Boys Section is set to conduct its annual election for the Proctorial Board and School Head Boy for the session 2024-2025. This election aims to foster leadership, encourage democratic participation, and empower students to take an active role in school affairs.

 

The process will follow a structured plan with specific stages, ensuring a transparent and inclusive election.

  3.  Nomination Process

The nomination process will begin on 30th September 2024, allowing eligible students to submit their forms. To be considered for a position, candidates will need to meet certain criteria, including academic excellence, a positive disciplinary record, and leadership potential.

 

Once all submissions are reviewed, the final list of candidates will be published on 1st October 2024.

  4.  Final Candidate List

After the review process, a final list of eligible candidates will be published, featuring students running for the positions of Proctorial Board Member and School Head Boy . The list will be officially released on 1st October 2024.

 

  5.  Campaign Period

The candidates will have two days, 3rd and 4th October 2024, to present their ideas and platforms to the student body. During this period, they will engage in various forms of campaigning, including:

- Distributing posters and flyers

- Delivering speeches during school assemblies

- Classroom visits to interact with potential voters

The theme for this year’s election campaign will be: 

 "Lead with Integrity, Serve with Pride – Shape Tomorrow!"

 

The candidates will emphasize their commitment to enhancing the school environment, serving their peers, and leading by example.

 

  6.  Election Day

Election Day is scheduled for 5th October 2024. The voting will be conducted through a secret ballot system to ensure fairness and privacy for all voters.

 

Polling stations will be set up in the school, and the election process will be monitored by school staff and teachers.

7.  Planned Election Procedure:

- Students will receive ballot papers with the names of all the candidates.

- Votes will be cast anonymously in designated ballot boxes.

- Teachers will oversee the voting and ensure the process is smooth and transparent.

 

 

  8.  Vote Counting & Announcement of Results

Votes will be counted immediately following the election under the supervision of school authorities. The winning candidates will be those who receive the highest number of votes for the respective positions.

 

The results will be officially announced on 7th October 2024.

 

  9.  Award Ceremony

An Award Ceremony is planned for  8th October 2024 , where the newly elected School Head Boy and Proctorial Board members will be formally recognized. The ceremony will feature:

 

- Presentations of badges and sashes

- Motivational speeches by the school Director.

- A formal introduction of the elected leaders to the school community

 

This event will symbolize the beginning of their leadership journey and their responsibilities towards the school and their fellow students.

 

 

  10.  Expected Outcomes

The election is anticipated to be a valuable experience for the students, giving them the opportunity to demonstrate their leadership skills, learn about democratic practices, and take responsibility for enhancing the school environment. The elected leaders will be expected to uphold the values of the school, work towards student welfare, and act as role models for their peers.
